Created by The Ninety-Niners, the campaign invites Londoners to reclaim their afternoons with a free pint and a cheeky nod to the city’s overworked culture.

The Ninety-Niners has created a cheeky new campaign for Meantime Brewing Company encouraging Londoners to take some well-earned time off, even if it’s just a couple of hours.
Called ‘The London Bunk Holiday’, the campaign pokes cheerfully at the capital’s corporate culture while rewarding hardworking Londoners with a free pint. With the last bank holiday of the year now behind us - and the next one not until May 2026 - Meantime is inviting workers to join the campaign from 3–5pm every Thursday in October.
Participants can register online to receive their invite and voucher for a complimentary pint of Meantime at participating pubs across London. Those who join all four Thursdays will be in with a chance to win special prizes.
The campaign launches with a social film by comedian Jake Lambert, supported by OOH, digital and in-pub media. Promotional teams are also hitting key commuter hubs, handing out branded lanyards with details on how to sign up.

In a lively kick-off to the campaign, Jake Lambert and several other comedians made a surprise stand-up appearance at the George & Vulture pub in Hoxton last week, delighting unsuspecting after-work crowds and setting the tone for The London Bunk Holiday.
Richard Witty, brand director at Meantime Brewing Company, said. “We were born in Greenwich - the home of time - so we know just how precious time is. The London Bunk holiday is a fun way of encouraging the city to pause, reset and live in the Meantime.

Ant Hopper, founder of The Ninety-Niners, added, “We’re thrilled to be working with Meantime and Jake to bring this fun campaign to the city this autumn.”
